Slalom course overview
The slalom starts at 1,475 metres above sea level at the Innerwengen chairlift mountain station on the Allmend.
The course is challenging right from the off, and only those who attack it from the first gate have a chance of winning. The first run always takes place on the side closer to Wengen, and the second run is always held on the Jungfrau side.
This is one of the most formidable slalom slopes on the FIS World Cup circuit. With its 36 degree gradient, it demands everything from the volunteers who prepare the course as well as the athletes competing in the event itself.
The slalom finishes at 1,285 metres above sea level in Innerwengen.
