Cyprien Sarrazin (FRA) has won his first World Cup super-G with a sensational run. He beat yesterday’s downhill winner, Marco Odermatt (SUI), by 58 hundredths of a second, while Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) once again had to settle for third place.
Marco Odermatt (SUI) has won the additional downhill at the Lauberhorn races, finishing over half a second ahead of the rest of the field. This marks his first World Cup victory in the downhill.
The second training session started today above the Hundschopf, and France’s Cyprien Sarrazin seems to feel very much at home on the course here in Wengen.
The first downhill training session on the original course was held today. Conditions were good, and Marco Odermatt (SUI) recorded the fastest time, ahead of Jared Goldberg (USA) and Stefan Rogentin (SUI).
