Additional late-night train services will run from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen from Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday. Connections to Interlaken Ost and Grindelwald are guaranteed. The last connection from Wengen will be at 2.10 a.m. 

Children and young people under the age of 16 are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol. Young people under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from consuming spirits and drinks containing spirits (mixed drinks). Visitors purchasing alcoholic drinks may be required to show proof of age (ID) to staff if they are not clearly of legal age. 

There is a post office and an ATM in Wengen. There are no ATM facilities in the Girmschbiel fan zone or along the race course. However, cashless payments are accepted at the race. 

The awards ceremony will take place at 7.00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in the World Cup village. On Sunday, the awards ceremony will take place in the Innerwengen finish area after the second slalom race. To the programme

The bib draw will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6.15 p.m. in the World Cup village. To the programme

Visitors have the option of making purchases using cashless payment (TWINT, credit card).

Drones are prohibited at all event sites (World Cup village/along the race course).

A deposit will be charged for all drinks purchased in cups, cans or bottles. The deposit will be refunded at all sales stands.

There will be a wide variety of food on offer to make sure nobody goes home hungry! From traditional Chäsbrätel to bratwurst and cervelats, there’s sure to be something for everyone. On race days, visitors can enjoy refreshments along the race course, on the Wengernalp (Girmschbiel) and in the finish area from 9.30 a.m. 

In the evening, a wide range of food and drink will be available in the World Cup village and in Wengen itself.

The organiser disclaims all liability for theft, accidents and incidents.

The 95th International Lauberhorn Races will be broadcast live on SRF2. 

Visitors will be able to watch live TV coverage on large screens in the Girmschbiel fan zone, the Innerwengen finish area and the World Cup village.

Lost property can be handed in or collected from Wengen Tourism during and after the event. Enquiries after the event regarding lost property should be addressed to: Wengen Tourism

The Lauberhorn races take place in the ski area and are therefore weather-dependent. Winter clothing and suitable footwear are recommended.

There are various paid parking options available in Wilderswil, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. Visitors are advised to follow the car park guidance system, which provides information about availability.

Tickets can be presented at the entrance either as print@home or mobile tickets. You do not need to print them out. Tickets are checked electronically, and ticket holders are responsible for protecting their tickets against unauthorised use. In the case of duplicates, only the first admission will be granted.

  • The transfer from Interlaken Ost and back is included in every ticket.

The resale or trading of tickets at non-official prices is strictly prohibited. Tickets purchased in this way will be deemed invalid. In the event of any suspicion, we reserve the right to block the corresponding tickets without offering a refund.

The Innerwengen grandstand is standing room only. We are unable to provide any seating options. Visitors are also not permitted to bring camping chairs or similar. 

When purchasing a ticket, you also have the option of purchasing a combined ticket (event ticket incl. ski pass) at special rates. You can redeem your ski pass for the respective race day from 1 December 2024 by presenting your ticket at any of the following Jungfrau Railway sales outlets: 

  • Interlaken Ost

  • Wilderswil

  • Lauterbrunnen

  • Wengen

  • Grindelwald

  • Grindelwald Grund

  • Grindelwald Terminal 

Ski passes purchased in combination with a VIP product can be redeemed on race day at the Jungfrau Railway information desk in the P&R car park in Wilderswil. 

The Jungfrau Ski Region’s tariff conditions apply to ski passes. Exchanges, extensions, refunds or cumulation with other offers are excluded.

A ski pass is not required to attend the ski races. 

Would you like to watch the races in the finish arena in Innerwengen? Please take note of the travel instructions on your ticket so that you can get to your destination as quickly as possible.

Route: Grindelwald Terminal–Männlichen–Wengen or Lauterbrunnen–Wengen. There is a footpath from Wengen to the finish area (approx. 20-minute walk). 

You must have snow sports equipment and a ski pass to access the start area. Visitors without snow sports equipment will not be allowed on the Lauberhorn chairlift.

Would you like to follow the races from the Wengernalp/Girmschbiel fan zone? Please take note of the travel instructions on your ticket so that you can get to your destination as quickly as possible.
Route: Grindelwald Terminal–Eigergletscher–Kleine Scheidegg–Wengernalp.

You are strongly advised not to purchase tickets on third-party platforms. The International Lauberhorn Races Association is keen to preserve its reputation and disclaims all responsibility and liability in the event of irregularities in the purchase of tickets on third-party platforms.

Timetables for regular train services to Interlaken Ost can be found on the SBB website. The Jungfrau Railways timetables will be posted here in due course.

Travel from Interlaken Ost is always included in the admission ticket for the International Lauberhorn Races.

These ticket offers provide you with a special Lauberhorn experience. VIP tickets are available to purchase here in the shop

We offer all VIP guests a free shuttle bus service on race days. The shuttle runs from the P&R Jungfraupark Matten car park to either Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald Terminal.

To the timetable

Wherever there are lots of people, there’s bound to be a lot of rubbish left behind. There will be designated waste islands dotted around the site and along the course. Please use these rather than just dropping your rubbish on the ground. This will make life much easier for our cleaning team.

 

We have a few wheelchair spaces in the finish area on the grandstand. For more information and to enquire about availability, please contact our office at info@lauberhorn.ch. Each person in a wheelchair has the right to bring two accompanying persons.

You do not need a ticket to visit the World Cup village. Please note that the World Cup village can only accommodate a limited number of visitors. If you want to secure a spot, we recommend our Home of Legends Lounge. Learn more
