Henrik Kristoffersen wins the slalom for the third time
The Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen completes the Norwegian festival in Wengen with his slalom victory. Kristoffersen showed a superior race in the second run in snowfall and distanced the previous leader Lucas Braathen (NOR) by 49 hundredths. Loïc Meillard (SUI) could not bring his advantage from the first run to the finish. He was 20 hundredths behind and had to settle for second place in the end.
At the 93rd International Lauberhorn Races, the Norwegian and Swiss ski teams shared the podium places among themselves. Only Mattia Casse (ITA) was able to prevent a total success of the two nations with his third place in the downhill on Saturday.
