Arrival by train
From Interlaken:
By Berner-Oberland-Bahnen (BOB) to Lauterbrunnen, change to Wengernalpbahn (WAB) to Wengen-Allmend-Wengernalp-Kleine Scheidegg. Suitable for pedestrians and skiers wishing to reach the race track via Wengernalp (Wixi chairlift) or from Kleine Scheidegg (Lauberhorn chairlift).
From Interlaken:
By Berner-Oberland-Bahnen (BOB) to Grindelwald, change to Wengernalpbahn (WAB) to Kleine Scheidegg or Grindelwald-Männlichen (GGM) gondola cableway to Männlichen, then use Gummi or Arvengarten chairlifts to Kleine Scheidegg. Suitable for skiers.
From Wengen:
By Wengen-Männlichen cable-car to Männlichen, then continue to Kleine Scheidegg on Gummi and Arvengarten chairlifts. Suitable for skiers
From Grindelwald:
By Wengernalpbahn (WAB) to Kleine Scheidegg or with the Grindelwald-Männlichen gondola cableway to Männlichen (see above). Suitable for skiers.
Extra trains in the evening
Arrival by car
Over 2000 parking spaces are available in Lauterbrunnen. Please use the official parking spaces. A free shuttle bus service takes you from the car park to the railway station. In Grindelwald Grund use the Männlichen gondola (GGM) car park. Follow the signs in Zweilütschinen. This means of arrival is recommended for skiers!
From 8 to 11.30am Air-Glaciers fly from Lauterbrunnen to the starting area. Reservation under Tel. 033 8560 560. Only persons with skis, snowboard- or telemark equipment will be transported.
There are food stalls in the village, at the start, at the Hundschopf, on Girmschbiel (Wengernalp), at the Hanneggschuss and in the finishing area.
